AAI is dedicated to seeing Idyllwild become a nationally recognized fine arts center for education, creativity and exhibition.
The Mission of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild is:
- To enhance and expand Idyllwild’s growing reputation as an art community.
- To raise the level of community involvement and commitment in support of the arts in Idyllwild.
- To support the achievement of artistic excellence.
- To provide a venue for local artists and artisans to display their work.

Artist Membership
As an Artist Member of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild, you benefit in the following ways:
- “The Eye” fundraiser in March
- Annual Open Members’ Show in May
- Annual Juried Members’ Show in July
- Annual Plein Air Art Festival in September
- The Annual Art Walk and Wine Tasting
- Saturday Morning Art Cafes

- Access to the AAI database of more than 3000 names
- Access to the AAI membership list
- Right to have artist shows submitted to the AAI email data base
- Listing on AAI website with locator information and links to websites and email
- Listing on the Gallery Guide and Art Calendar
- Opportunities for communication and participation with fellow artists
- Opportunities to participate on committees and to help with AAI events
- (All show winners receive prizes, plus the Idyllwild Artist of the Year receives one year’s dues and the privilege of awarding one of the Art Angels or Patrons an original work of art at the annual Art Angel’s and Patrons Reception.

Supporting Membership
As a supporting member of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild, you can count on a major art event the First Saturday of every month from March through December. The First Saturdays include:
- The Eye Fundraiser in March
- Incredible Audible Gallery Tour in April
- The Annual Members’ Show in May
- The 3-D Art Festival and Gallery Tour in June
- The Annual Juried Members’ Show in July
- The Art Treasure Hunt and Gallery Walk in August
- The Plein Air Art Festival in September
- The Annual Art Walk and Wine Tasting in October.
- Saturday Morning Art Cafes every Saturday from June through October .
- Patrons and Angels may be recognized on the AAI website and on the Idyllwild Gallery Guide and Art Calendar
- Art Angels are eligible to sponsor a First Saturday Event
- Patrons and Angels are invited to the annual Patrons and Angels reception and are eligible to win an original piece of art by the Idyllwild Artist of the Year.

As a Gallery Member of the Art Alliance of Idyllwild, you benefit in the following ways:
- Participation in the following First Saturday Gallery events:
